The horror - Ann-Sofie Back A/W 09

“Ann-Sofie Back burns in hell” is the theme for her Autumn Winter 2009 collection. Drawing inspiration from the U.S. and traditional American stereotypes, although referenced from the less traditional context of horror movies we all watched as teenagers; Poltergeist, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Carrie, Hellraiser, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Evil Dead among others.

For this collection Ann-Sofie has worked with swollen, almost inflated parts and shoulder pads in odd places. Old favorites in new colors are the random buttoned chinos, the long shirt, the cardigan and the knitted dress.
